Digital Impressions
In traditional dentistry, it is necessary to take an oral impression with a mold and dough for prosthesis restoration or orthodontic treatment. Having a gag reflex during impression taking and repetitive impressions as a result of mistakes made during placement are quite disturbing. Digital impression is the process of scanning the teeth with an optical camera. These data are transferred to the computer environment in 3D and sent to the laboratory for design and production. Thanks to digital impressions, deformation and errors in plaster models are eliminated, and it is possible to perform problem-free treatments.
